Over 30 members participated in todays meeting. We had guest Dale Hicks from JARPA. He gave us a very good review of new legislation that affects us landlords.
He touched on Act 76, towing practices that come into effect July 1. Also, Chapter 66.0104.
Chapter 704 deals with Landlord & Tenant.
Chapter 799 deals with small claims and evictions.
Most but not all of this new legislation appears on the new leases offered by Wisconsin Legal Blank. There is still other legislation in the works including a municipal utilities Bill.
